Cube released a statement last night informing the public that 4Minute’s Hyuna was stepping back from the idol scene for the next three months to recover from a mysterious illness that has made her eyebrows begin to disappear.

“I am going through a really hard time and would appreciate some space from my fans while I recover from this disease,” said Hyuna, while wearing large sunglasses to cover her ever-shrinking eyebrows.

“My company and my group, especially Gayoon, are being really supportive about the whole incident.”

In a shocking coincidence representatives for Orange Caramel have also stated the girls will be taking a break after this promotion cycle to recover from the same disease.

Cube has made a donation toward the ongoing study of this affliction and Head of Research, Doctor Lee Hyunmin, made the following statement to the press: “This affliction has affected many Korean women, including idols, but this is the first time it has been made public with Hyuna and Orange Caramel being brave enough to go public and spread awareness of this new epidemic.”
